Rosemary holds an LL.M, Harvard Law School, Bachelor of Laws, Makerere University and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip. L.P) from the Law Development Centre. She previously worked as a Research and Legal Officer at Chapter Four Uganda. Rosemary’s academic and professional experience combined, lies in the following areas of Law; International and Domestic Human Rights Law, International Law, Constitutional Law, Law and Economic Development, Intellectual Property and Commercial Law and Transactions.
Her professional background involves an application of multiple fields of law, reconstruction of legal frameworks either through constitutional litigation or human rights advocacy. She thoroughly enjoys finding creative solutions to contemporary challenges especially those that push one to look beyond their discipline and involve other practices like economic inequality, human rights violations and climate justice. Rosemary is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and a member of the Uganda Law Society.
